Thunderobot Mix G2 Design:
Looking at the Mix G2, it is extremely slim, and you get a 3.2-liter chassis. The dimensions of this mini gaming PC are only 332 mm × 212 mm × 45 mm. At the front, there is a Penrose triangle power button and front IO ports, and at the bottom, you can see glowing blue LED strips, giving it a completely unique feel. For cooling, this mini gaming PC has a large vapor chamber (194×130×2.8 mm) and two high-pressure fans that are very slim, with fins only 0.1 mm in size, and these fans are completely silent. Thunderobot claims that compared to the previous Mix mini gaming PC, it provides 30% more cooling efficiency.

You get a total of 2 processor options and three GPU options in the Thunderobot Mix G2 gaming mini-PC.
In the first variant, you get an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor along with a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU. This Intel processor is truly powerful, offering a total of 20 cores—8 performance cores and 12 efficient cores. The performance cores have a boost clock of 5.2 GHz, and the efficient cores have a boost clock of 4.5 GHz, which is commendable. In this variant, you also get Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti 12 GB GDDR7 GPU. This RTX 5070 Ti GPU comes with 5,888 CUDA cores.
In the other variant, you get an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor along with a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU. This Intel processor is a beast; it comes with a total of 24 cores—8 performance cores and 16 efficient cores. The performance cores have a boost clock of 5.4 GHz, and the efficient cores boost up to 4.6 GHz, which is impressive for a mobile chip. This chip is future-proof. The CPU also features a built-in NPU that delivers 36 TOPS of AI computing power. For gaming, you get the RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7 GPU, which has 7,680 CUDA cores.
In its final flagship variant, you get the same powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor as in the second variant, along with the most powerful gaming Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU (mobile). The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 is a powerful GPU based on the new Blackwell architecture, offering 24 GB of super-fast GDDR7 video memory. Since it is a laptop GPU, it runs at 175W. The special feature of this GPU is that it offers advanced ray tracing, DLSS 4, and creative acceleration tools under the Nvidia Studio and Max-Q frameworks. This RTX 5090 GPU provides 10,496 CUDA cores and 1,824 TOPS of AI performance.
Memory/Storage:
The Mix G2 offers you two memory options. The top variant comes with 64 GB DDR5 dual-channel RAM, clocked at 5600 MT/s, and the first two variants come with 32 GB DDR5 dual-channel RAM, also clocked at 5600 MT/s. However, you can also upgrade its RAM up to 128 GB in the future.
The Thunderobot Mix G2 gaming mini-PC comes with a 1TB PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD installed. It also provides PCIe Gen 5.0 and PCIe Gen 4.0 M.2 SSD expansion slots, so you can easily increase the storage.
IO Ports/Connectivity:
On the front side, you get USB A 3.2 Gen 1, USB Type C 3.2 Gen 1, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. On the rear side, you get RJ45, USB Type A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 5.0, and DC Power Input. For wireless connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

If you are looking for an excellent sleek mini gaming PC, the Thunderobot Mix G2 is a better option for you. It comes with two powerful CPU options and three GPU options, meaning there are a total of three variants. You get the RTX 5070 Ti, the RTX 5080, and the most powerful gaming GPU so far, the RTX 5090 (mobile). This gaming machine offers better price-to-performance compared to the Asus ROG NUC (2025). Outside of China, its availability depends on the price. Under heavy load, whether the integrated vapor chamber can efficiently combine the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5090 will need to be seen in real testing.
