MOREFINE M900 Mini PC Launched With Ryzen AI 7 HX 350, AI 5 HX 340 & Ryzen 7 H 255

Morefine has launched its M900 mini PC, available in three processor variants. Two of these processors are special because they are AI-specific chips. Recently, Sapphire also launched the Edge AI mini PC lineup with these processors. The Morefine M900 offers a lot of memory and storage options, and you can also purchase this M900 mini PC as a barebone (without RAM/SSD). The starting Barebone variant is available for just $369*. On the official site, you get an instant $50* off.

Design:

If we talk about the design, the Morefine M900 looks very similar to MINISFORUM’s M1 Pro Mini PC and somewhat like the GEEKOM A9 Mega and Apple Mac Mini. It comes with a CNC-cut aerospace-grade aluminium alloy body. On the front, you get the power button along with front I/O ports. The look of this mini PC is also solid and minimalistic. The M900 offers VESA mount support, allowing you to mount it behind a monitor. For cooling, it features a specially designed vapour chamber with a blower-style silent fan that sucks air from the vents on both sides and the bottom, exhausting hot air from the back, which provides extreme cooling.

Memory/Storage:

All three variants of the Morefine M900 Mini PC come with a total of five memory and storage combinations. All of them feature DDR5 4800MHz memory along with a Gen 4 NVMe SSD, such as 16GB+500GB SSD / 16GB+1TB SSD / 32GB+500GB SSD / 32GB+1TB SSD / 32GB+2TB SSD

And you can also buy all three models as Barebone because currently, due to the shortage of RAM and SSDs, the prices of all are skyrocketing. For this reason, if you already have RAM and an NVMe SSD, you can save a lot of money.

Anyway, in this Morefine M900 mini PC, you can install up to 96 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz RAM. You get dual-channel SODIMM slots, and there are also two full-size 2280 M. 2 Gen 4 slots in total.

Opinion:

It would be fair to say about the Morefine M900 that compared to mini AI workstations of other brands with the same configuration, it offers better price-to-performance; you get a lot of options, and if you already have RAM and SSD, you can go just with the barebone model and save some money. If you don’t mind a plastic chassis, you can also consider the SAPPHIRE EDGE AI Mini PC.
