AMD has just launched the Radeon RX 9060 XT LP Graphics Card. You must be aware that the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT is already available in the market with 8 GB and 16 GB VRAM, but in the older variant you get 160 W TDP. Let’s see what difference you get in this variant.
AMD has really done some magic; the power delivery of the Radeon RX 9060 XT is tuned in such a way that even with 20W less power delivery, you are going to get the same performance as the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB variant, which is a great thing, but this GPU may be China-specific.
AMD launched the Radeon RX 9060 XT LP variant on 17 December 2025. In this also you get the same Navi 44 GPU, which is based on RDNA 4.0. In this you have used the same GPU die. In this also you get 2048 shading units and 32 compute units. If we look at the base clock, then it is 1700 MHz; the game clock is 2530 MHz, and the boost clock is 3130 MHz. And if we look at the video memory, then you get 16 GB of 128-bit GDDR6 memory, which is a 2518 MHz (20.1 Gbps effective) clock. AMD has still not mentioned the clock speed of this Radeon RX 9060 XT LP on the official site, but according to TechPowerUp, you get the same clock speed in this low-power variant.

Opinion:
The AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT LP is a considerate addition to the lineup of GPUs from AMD, one that combines contemporary gaming capabilities and increased power efficiency. It’s not particularly groundbreaking in terms of outright power, but it’s a sound refocusing of high-end functionality in a package that is friendlier to temperatures and power consumption.
